Weekend

It was very eventful.

Chris graduated. It was a nice ceremony. Sitting in the blazing sun wasn't so great, and now I have a nice little farmer's tan to show for it. Chris enjoyed the war movie and records I got for him [2 Monty Python, 2 George Carlin], and also a tattoo design I drew.

Saw the family. And I do mean in its entirety. And also saw Megan, who I miss terribly. Melissa is up and about. Looking more than a bit frail, but getting better every day.

The downside to the weekend was that while jumping in the pool I jammed the ever living hell out of one of my toes. For a good while I though I had broken it, but it feels much better today. Doesn't look all that pretty, but I can walk on it without too much trouble.

Thanks

To the gang from V!ADA who stop by here.

This blog is certainly nothing special. But they drop by and read, and it is greatly appreciated.

It's funny, I've been playing that game for over a year and a half now. I've met some wonderfully awesome individuals.

I just wanted them to know.

Healing Thoughts

Go out to Melissa because of the emergency appendectomy she had.

Greg is flying home tonight. So he is getting more leave time, just not spending it how he imagined.

Get better soon, Meliss'. See you in a few weeks. *HUGS*

[and yes, for those who missed it, my sister-in-law and I share a name. I rarely talk about myself in the third person ;) ]

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

I have only one thing to say right now. If you look at the timestamp you will understand why.

That was the longest *SLAP* *SLAP* *KISS* scene, ever.

Takers?

I would sell my soul for an air conditioner.

No. That's a lie.

But I might sell yours, reader ;)

Full Circle

When I went to the senior prom my junior year of high school and my own junior prom I got a wine glass and a beer mug as a souvenier.

Well, parents called the school and said 'Oh! Oh! You are encouraging the children to drink! For shame!"

So for my senior prom we got picture frames.

For Greg's senior prom they got slightly nicer picture frames.

Chris's senior prom was a week ago today. I asked him if he had a good time and what he got to remember it by. In a really excited voice he said:

"It was fun! We each got a beer mug!"

[and yes, I did go to 3 proms. I was a sexy bitch.]

S*x

Okay. Hypothetical situation.

It is very early morning, and your significant other [who is decidedly wearing absolutely nothing] turns to you in bed and says a single word starting with the letter 's' and ending with the letter 'x.' With a questioning intonation.

Now, what's the first thought you would have had?

For everyone [and I know it's everyone] who thought the word was 'sex?'...
you'd be wrong.

The word was 'six?' As in, could you both stay in bed until six a.m.

You perverts ;D

June Is Busting Out All Over

she should have invested in a better bra then.
