Star Wars

More on it tomorrow. Right now I am exhausted.

I will however make this one observation.

Why is it that heroes decide that it is a good idea [during a fight to the death] to go out onto precarious ledges?

Hehehe

Colin Mochrie was always funny on 'Whose Line Is It Anyway.'

But now I love him even more.

Morning Again

The fish are awake and swimming happily.

The cats are awake and acting insane.

I am awake and really, really do not want to go to work.

Thursdays hands down are the most busy and hectic day of the week. Fridays aren't much of a peach either, but at least I get paid.

Grocery shopping and getting a new driver's license are on tap for the weekend.

Wiggly and Co.

Have a new fish tank. And also some new tank mates.

So I have 7 zebra fish, 2 tetras, and 1 mystery fish. And one of those frogs that lives underwater.

I Lied

I do have a new cell phone number.

It seems one cannot do a Friends and Family plan when one number has a California area code and a New York area code.

Go figure.

So yeah. I sent it out. If you don't have it, and you want it [and I like you ;-) ], drop me a line.

Ring a Ding a Ling

I have a new cell phone.

The old prepay wasn't cutting it anymore, as the cell is my only/main phone that I use now. Just waiting for it to be activated. 2-24 hours is such a long time to wait :(

[I am keeping the same number for the time being, for those who care.]

Off to work soon. I am really beginning to loathe Thursdays.

Fishies and Phillies

I have fishies.

They live in a little tank on my desk. One is named Wiggly, and he is a zebra fish. He was the first my girlfriend managed to successfully raise. I don't have names for the other 2 yet.

Went to a Phillies game today. It was a lot of fun. They almost managed to mess it up, but ended up winning 4-3.

more updates

- happy birthday to grandma. 80 years young

If you ever need stuff for your apartment, go shopping at 'Grandma's Basement.' We went there for Mother's Day. We brought with us one box and one bag (with food and various gifts for various people.) We went home with 1 box, and probably about 6 bags of various things. Food, kitchen utensils, dishes, cookbooks, towels, sheets, etc. etc. etc. And a night table, but that my parents brought.

I'm going to try and write more than once a week. I just need to stop being so damn tired.

Side Note: Have a good vacation, Jim! I'll take good care of S1 while you are away.

Add to the List

of things I will never tell my mom.

I made the mistake of telling her about our Blair Witch basement, where we have to do our laundry. Where you should probably carry a huge Maglite flashlight, but not to help illuminate the surroundings. But this is what happened today.

Man: [speaking to 4 of us] Ladies, could you help me out? My car died. Would you get in it while I push it off to the side of the road?

Me: No.

K + E: We have to get her home. Sorry.

***

Now, the car was off to the side of the road when he said this. Then he proceeded to follow us for a block and a half.

It's Been Awhile

Who missed me?

So
updates

-Saw The Hitchhicker's Guide To The Galaxy. Wasn't terribly impressed by it, though it did have amusing moments.

-Work is...work. More on that some other time.

-You can play a drinking game called 'Three Man' despite the fact there was neither three of us nor any men present.

-Happy Birthday to Dad.

-Grandma's house is half way between my parent's house and the apartment. So we are going there for mother's day.

That's it for now. Going to try and write more frequently.
