Why is that the 'media' feels the need to combine celebrity couple's names?

First there was Beniffer (Lopez).

Now there is Beniffer again (Garner).

And the latest is Bradgelina.

I'd probably have an aneursym if I hadn't come to expect this kind of idiocy.
