Oh Mercy

This was all sorts of funny.

To preface: MC, SB and I had just finished cleaning up a mess on the floor, which involved various states of bending over.

RH: Okay, this is going to border on sexual harrassment but [points to MC] thong, [points to SB] thong, [points to me] and Victoria Secret.

We all died laughing.

WooHoo!

Probation for work is finally up. I finally have vacation days to go along with my only recently obtained insurance and sick days.

That was a looooooong 9 months, people.

That Will Teach You

So my mother hasn't heard from my one brother since Christmas day.

It was pointed out to me that this is not unusal, to go a certain amount of time without speaking to the parents.

However, what is unusual is when said parent leaves several messages and the child does not call her back.

Well, that simply would not do.

So, my father called the police of the city he lives in. Asked them if they would do a drive by of his house and place of work.

The kind police did just that and spoke with the equally kind base police which in turn called my brother. My father got a return phone from him in about 5 minutes.

Now was that so hard?

And it is done

Got my tattoo. I strayed from my previous rule of only putting them on my torso. This one is a phoenix and is about the size of the circular end of a can of soda. It is on the underside of my left wrist.

MW got the Flyers logo on his calf. SB got a charm bracelet on her right ankle. The place we went to was awesome, and there will definately be some return business.

Maybe I'll get my little brother to visit and we will get his. That I have been promising him for almost a year now.

When the gf gets home, I'll see if she can take a picture of it so you can all see.

You Get Flags

My darling mother works for the USPS. She and I touched on how particular some people are when it comes to purchasing stamps.

Now, I will excuse those of you who send out invitations and want them to look nice (i.e wedding or birthday party).

However, if you walk into a post office, tell the nice clerk 'no, it doesn't matter what kind of stamps they are' and then decide you do not like what has been picked out, or those who want 'history month' stamps, but only if they feature someone they recognize, this is for you.

I told my mom to make a little sign and pin it under her name tag.

"If you give me any grief about buying stamps, all you will get are the [american] flag ones."

You get flags!

Yay Ink! (And the countdown begins...)

1/6/06 is the date for our tattoo party at work. It started out that we had about 8-10 people going, but it has dwindled to just 4. SB, MW, NW and myself have an appt at 5:30pm.

NW is getting his little girl's name on his chest. SB will probably be getting another scorpion (yay scorpios). Not entirely sure what MW is getting, and I will either get the latin that is at the top of my blog or a phoenix. Possibly both, depending on the financial situation. All of us already have multiple tattoos, so this won't be anything new for anybody.
