There's an old saying:

It is better to be unfaithful than to be faithful without wanting to be.


I almost would have rather she actually cheated on me (instead of the emotional affair she had going on) than staying with me because 'the logistics of breaking up would be too difficult.'

Makes one feel wonderful, you know?
